There are Dozens of Places to Study the Arts on the West Coast ...But Only ONE if You Want a Career on BROADWAY!
David Green’s MUSICAL THEATRE UNIVERSITY provides intensive, high level training designed to meet the needs of both professional performers and “aspiring-professional” performers and to develop the “triple threat” skills of the actor/singer/dancer necessary to attain and sustain a career in Musical Theatre. The core faculty is made up of working professional “artist-teachers” supplemented by celebrated guest-artist Master Teachers from Broadway and Hollywood. Concurrent with the MTU curriculum, students have the opportunity to participate in professionally produced theatrical productions, in many cases working alongside celebrated Broadway performers in a unique relationship with Actor’s Equity. There are currently three MTU Campuses -- the main campus in Orange County, California (in residence at The Pacific Academy of Dance in Mission Viejo) and satellite campuses in Long Beach and Palm Springs!
|  The MTU is home to several unique programs, created and developed by founder David Green, including THE MTU NATIONAL YOUTH SUMMER STOCK, THE BROADWAY INTENSIVE, THE NEW WORKS PROJECT and the nationally renowned performing group THE KIDS NEXT DOOR.

MTU NAMES NEW ARTISTIC DIRECTORS AND MANAGING DIRECTOR FOR FALL 2011
Tony Nominated Film and Television Actress JONELLE ALLEN and MTU's Musical Director DAVID ANTHONY have been named Co-Artistic Directors of Musical Theatre University, beginning with the Fall 2011 Semester. Ms. Allen and Mr. Anthony will design and facilitate the educational and performance opportunities for MTU Conservatory students. MTU will expand opportunities for college-age students and introduce a limited number of classes for adults. LAURIE MASON has been named MTU's Managing Director and will oversee the daily operations of the Conservatory. In addition Ms. Mason will serve as the Director of THE PREP ACADEMY PROGRAM for grades 5-8. Founder/President DAVID GREEN will continue to oversee the overall MTU program as he moves to his new role as Executive Director for CAROL CHANNING's FOUNDATION FOR THE ARTS.
